![]() Walkers have 50% maintenance plus poison so they seem much better. Originally posted by Obnoxio:Seems that way. I tried the Shadow Warriors in campaign, they didn't impress me I must say but I see their potential in MP especially when paired with a unit of Reavers to stop them from being harassed by fast cav (like Dark Riders). Biggest weakness seems lack of AP (which you don't need against EVERY army but it's nice to have vs some) and low model count (which means losing models makes you lose DPS very fast). I haven't played Alith Anar yet and haven't tested them 1v1 against other units but just saw YT videos of them, but they seem pretty solid. Shadow Walkers were the Champion unit of the Shadow Warriors in Tabletop. ![]() In SP, cost is not a concern anyway so there's no reason to bring Spearmen, Archers, Shadow Warriors past a certain turn. Overall, I'd say they're slightly more useful in MP than in SP where you want archers you don't have to babysit/micro (Lothern Sea Guard) or that pack a heavy punch against late-game units (Sisters of Avelorn). They are a good unit, with good range, decent damage and that can do something in melee after running out of ammo, especially against thinned forces. ![]() ![]() Shadow Warriors are lore-friendly and the 'default' HE skirmishing unit. ![]()
